School Story:

I recall high school days as being great fun, a lot of drama and complete discord at home. School was my refuge and theatre and art gave me a reason to be away from home. I had planned on entering the military and leaving the state when I graduated. I figured it was the only way to get money for college. I didn't really tell anyone of my plans and just kind of left. Mr. & Mrs. Pete were the only ones I told.

Let's see. Did the Army. Quit as often as I could and was reactivated just as often. Travelled alot LOL courtesy of Uncle Sam a lot of the time. Got married and divorced a couple of times. Not a very good wife, but I was a great Mom. We were on our own even before she was born.

I am so enjoying reading about everyone. The spouses, the kids...The lives we all went to after 69. I have enjoyed the reunions I've been to. Love catching up with people.

Have settled in the Seattle area (Everett) own my own business and in general am very comfortable in the skin I wear.

I have a rescued DYH Amazon and work with Motley Zoo animal rescue fostering dogs. That has been fun.

I am saddened to hear of Margaret's passing.  We have communicated over the years with very long-winded phone conversations.  I laughed that she got off the computers with her retirement.  We had such long memories to share and enjoyed staying current with each others' trials and trevails.  I will always remember her laugh, wicked sense of humor and warmth.  I will miss her so much.
